Health & Safety in the Workplace
This qualification is aimed at all employees whether new starters, currently in employment or seeking work.
The purpose of the qualification is to provide learners with the knowledge to identify workplace hazards and contribute to the positive health and safety culture within the workplace. The certification contains subjects which are essential in maintaining a safe working environment.
The qualification also provides a demonstration of the employer’s commitment to fulfil their legal obligation to provide training to its employees.
The qualification is suitable for ages 14+ and there are no pre requisites to attend the course.
The course is available at our base or we can come to an organisational venue
1 Day (8 hours) which can be split into bespoke sessions if required
The course is assessed through multiple choice questions via a Learner Assessment Logbook. The learner must correctly answer 20 or more questions out of 30 in order to be awarded the qualification. Learners will pass or fail the course
QUALIFICATION & RECERTIFICATION
Successful learners receive full certification awarded by UK Rural Skills and linked to National Occupational Standards. This qualification is valid for 3 years. In order to re-qualify after 3 years, learners must be assessed against all learning outcomes and assessment criteria.
